We Built A Ski Lift in Harrods

We read something recently which said “Joy and Play are setting the tone for 2023”. Apparently there’s a new term called ‘Joyconomy Retail’ (engaging shoppers with positivity and creativity) and we’re most definitely here for it.

So, when one of the most iconic stores on the planet offered us our own area for a 6 month pop up, we had to create something special.

In October 2022, we installed a custom built Ski Lift in the Childrenswear department at Harrods in London!

It was built by Cod Steaks (the guys behind the Bristol Whales), with artwork directed by Mathilde Heu and animated by Maria Piva. Not only that, the whole thing doubles up as an Augmented Reality experience!

When a customer scans the interior window using an app called EyeJack, the whole thing comes to life!

We even composed our own music and sound effects with the help of Haniell!

The ‘Roarsome Express’ is open until March 2023.

Located on the 4th Floor in the Mini Designer department.
