Our latest adventure was a trip to check out the local Mud Club at The Spinney on Clapham Common.
We took a troop of toddlers to test out our new Roarsome Rainwear Collection and it was a huge honour to be accompanied by legendary wildlife & adventure photographer Louis Waite, to capture the chaos.
To get started, we all changed into our Puddle Suits, Rain Coats & Waterproof Trousers.
Once suitably dressed, we headed straight for the woodpile to fill up the diggers!
A second group started preparing lunch in the Mud Kitchen.
The self designated bar staff were kept extremely busy serving cocktails and potions.
One blended right in with the foliage.
Of course there was also tea and coffee.
The chef served us all lunch - some form of soup/sludge.
We all tucked in!
Compliments to the chef, some came back for seconds!
Our Waterproof Gloves came in very handy for the washing up.
Fuelled with energy, we then had time for a few quick laps of 'Wacky Races'.
While one of the squad filled the mud bath...
Then there was only one thing left to do. CANNONBALL!
When we say we tested our kit, we really mean it! Things got MUDDY.
And when all was done and well and truly dusted, we each got a jet wash and went home.
The Mud Club received rave reviews from all attendees and we can gladly say that our Roarsome Rainwear passed the waterproofing tests with flying colours (mostly brown).
Open Tuesday (10.00 - 11.30), Thursday (15.45 - 17.30), Friday (10.00-12.00) & Saturday (10.30-12.00) and managed by a brilliant team of forest school practitioners, trust us when we say this place is a hidden gem!
