A couple of weeks ago we teamed up with Sport Society to host a Roarsome Football Camp for 4-6 year olds on the outskirts of London.
We warmed up with a good old fashioned game of British Bulldog and then split the teams.
It was Team Dino vs Team Unicorn and the Roarsome Founders Will & Ed joined in too wearing adult Unicorn kits!
There was some serious talent on the pitch. We heard rumours that football scouts from all around the country came to watch.
After an incredible goal fest, the match ended 8-8.
A draw could only mean one thing…. Penalty Shootout!
The players lined up with their team-mates, behind their team banners and took their penalties one by one.
The rules were that you must cheer on your team and you must celebrate every goal together!
The atmosphere was electric. The crowd was tense.
It took incredible courage to walk to the spot and take each penalty. We salute every little superstar that was brave enough to step up.
Once all penalties were taken, the referee counted the score and something very rare happened.
Both teams had won!
We all shook hands and every player received a medal from our friends at Fulham United.
Celebrations continued long into the night.
Football was the real winner.
We need to grow our squad for the next game.
