WHAT IS SLED WEEK?

A new adventure for 2025!

An official family sledging event didn't seem to exist, so we decided to create one ourselves.

In February Half Term, in partnership with Norway Home of Skiing and Beitostolen Resort we are so excited to launch the very first Roarsome Sled Week!

Working with local partners we'll help you build your own jam-packed itinerary of nordic activities including Tobogganing, Snow Rafting, Air Boarding, Husky Sledding, Skiing & Mountain Feasts, all culminating in a family friendly Roarsome Sled Race.

Tobogganing

Beitostolen has an incredible tobogganing run with it's own lift. It's a fantastic ride down a winding slope, and you can choose to go racing on a single sledge or ride together on a double.

Snow Rafting

Snowrafting is the ultimate activity to get your heart pumping. Feel the excitement as you slide down a designated run in a raft!

Air Boarding

One for the big kids - Airboarding is the perfect activity for those who love speed and excitement. This is an advanced inflatable sledge, with two handles.

Husky Sledding

One for the bucket list! Book a half day husky tour, across a frozen lake and learn to steer the sled through the backyard of the national park.

Skiing

With incredible guaranteed snow and only 21km of quiet, looping green and blue runs, all leading back to the resort centre, this winter wonderland is the perfect place to learn to ski.
