This short story begins
Somewhere out at sea
Something strange has happened
A real life mystery

“Coral Reef has lost her colour!”
Turtle shouted with all his might
Colour had never been lost before
This gave everyone quite a fright

So the sea creatures sent out a search party
At first they checked the beach
Next they checked the shipwreck
Sunk deep down beneath

They all searched the ocean
The Octopus spread the word
The small fish swam as far as they could
To tell the old Iceberg

Coral Reef has lost her colour?
Iceberg could not believe
Not once had he moved in 1000 years
But this news forced him to leave

He set sail into the distance
Floating all frozen and big
Maybe the humans knew where to look
He called ‘Help!’ to the oily rig

The humans stopped their work
Coral’s colour was close to their hearts
They all went looking together
Armed with maps and charts

And during this Great Pause,
The world improved it’s health.
The sun got cooler, the sea got clearer
And Coral's colour returned all by itself.
